Thank You Dog

It's Monday...
I have a thankyou card today.  I always need these so I am happy to make them!  Today's card uses a Designed to Delight digital image and I used the sketch from The Pink Elephant challenge.

I think this guy is adorable!

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope everyone has a great day!

Smallest Things

A quicky post.  I almost forgot to enter the MOJO challenge!  Oh My!!! For my entry I used a Winnie the Pooh quote from Verve, a Prima rose, a Cheery Lynn border and dp from my scrap box.

Okay, I am done for the day...must prepare for work tomorrow, grrrrh!

Tulips

Today's card is using a digi design from Designed2Delight.  I am loving watching everything starting to bud and bloom at our new house.  We had a friend over yesterday to tell us what all our plants and trees are!  So this afternoon I colored some tulips in honor of springtime!

I used the sketch for the challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I added a Prima flower, Basic Grey buttons and Papertrey ribbon.  Background paper is from an old Hobby Lobby mat stack.  This is my first photo using Photoshop so bear with me as I am definitely going to have a learning curve!

Until next time, Happy Stamping!

Mature Birthday

Good Saturday morning everyone!  I am sure Kathy will about fall out of her chair when she sees that I've posted twice in one week. LOL.  I found my chord to one of my old cameras which  had a bunch of photos of cards I created last year.  My skills were sharp last year but since I hadn't created much since May, I can see my creativity has dwindled.  Anyway, today I'm posting a card I had made for my mother's birthday last April.  She's an Aries...so she is all girl and loves to primp.  Her greatest love is hats.  I don't quite understand it...can't stand them myself, but as you can see, this card is all her.  I don't remember where the paper came from (it was from one of those pads I bought at Michaels) but details about the stamps are below.  I picked up the "Mature and Fabulous" stamp when I was vacationing in Santa Fe in a cute little store called Stampa Fe.  I'd never heard of this company before but am sure glad I found it--it's so unique.  Enjoy! -Margaret
Stamps: Lady (Kanban Crafts); Sentiment (Alor, Our Lady of Rubber) lots of silver stickles

Somebunny Loves You

Happy Friday one and All!
Today's card is a quicky.  I stamped Lollipop Presley on white and SU! dp and paper-pieced her dress, bow, bunny and slippers.

I used my nesties to cut her out and used a Cheery Lynn border at the bottom using the same dp as her dress.  I used an SU! punch for the sentiment and added 3 pearls.

I will be entering this in the Lori Designs Challenge.  That's all for today.  Until next time, Happy Stamping!

Happy Happy

Happy Thursday to one and all.  If you are a regular reader, you know I only work 1 Friday a month and that will be next Friday.  So I am free to play until Monday morning!!! Yea!
Tonight's card is for one of my sisters-in-law.  My husband asked me to make her a card and even CHOSE the stamps for me to use!!!  Well, I found it difficult to incorporate both dogs on the outside, so one went to the inside.  These are stamps that represent her 2 pups.

Both of the dog stamps are from Inkadinkado.  The birthday greeting is from PaperTrey.  I used a Fleur de Lis frame die from Nestabilities for the bulldog.  I added white grosgrain ribbon from Michaels and cut a black scallop strip using a Quickutz die.

I used a different Fleur de Lis Nestabilities set for the Scottie.  The sentiment comes from Rubbernecker.  Now I need to go prepare an envelope for mailing it tomorrow.  So until next time, Happy Stamping.

Missing You

Hi there, it's Margaret again.  Today I'm posting a card that's for Kathy.  Only 80 something days before we see each other again!  I made this card a couple of weeks ago ... if only I can get myself to mail it! LOL The two girls (Magnolia stamp) represent my daughters, Julia and Claudia.  They can't wait for "Miss Kathy" to come.  Every year, right before they leave for their dad's house, we always go to a "Paint your own pottery" place.  I guess this year we will get to do it again!
 Thanks for stopping by!
