A few days ago, one of our agility classmates lost one of her dogs to kidney failure, so I have made a card to bring to her tonight at class. This hits home for me because I have 2 senior dogs and I know their time could be up at any moment, although both are in good health. Our 4-legged friends just don't live long enough, in my perspective.
This is for Jamie, a Scottie:
I found this angel scottie from The Cat's Pajamas in my stash. How fitting is that? The sentiment is from Cloud 9, with all stamping done with Versafine Onyx Black, my staple. I used nesties to cut them out. DP is ancient Memory Makers from a dog kit I bought at Hobby Lobby for scrapbooking years ago and never even opened the package. I don't scrapbook anymore once I discovered stamping!!! I added a strip of stash robbon to cover where the red cs meets the dp. Blue cs is from Michaels, red is MM.
On the inside I used a Martha Stewart border pawprint punch and added a sentiment from PTI.
I used the sketch from Fusion Card Challenge.
