To a Sweet Friend

Surprise!
It's me, Kathy, in lieu of Margaret tonight.  She has work
commitments that are pressing, so I am posting instead.
She'll be back tomorrow!

My card tonight is very pink and sparkly.

I used the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketches #189.  My dp is from Teresa Collin - Spring Fling.  This charming little girl is Anya from The Greeting Farm.  She is colored with Copics and glittered up with Spicas.  I used Spellbinders and MFT dies and EK punches.  The sequin and pearl flower is from my stash.  The sentiment is from A Muse.

I am also entering the following challenges:

Cutie Pie Challenges - Pretty in Pink
That Craft Place - It's a Girl Thing
Ruby's Rainbow - Layer it Up

Add a Little Color

Just got home from agility class with Geena Bea.  She was really on top of her game tonight!  We had a lot of fun playing and visiting with our friends.
Now I have a very tired dog...yea!  She will sleep a lot tomorrow which is a good thing since I have to take my car into the shop! UGH...

I am so proud of Margaret, dipping her toes into the digital world!
If you didn't see her post from yesterday, go check it out.
This is totally unplanned, but my card also uses a digital image, 2 as a matter of fact.  I used freebies from The Alley Way stamps, as I haven't managed to shop there yet, though my wish list is growing rapidly, faster than my paychecks arrive...which unfortunately is only monthly!

The challenge this time at The Alley Way  is a photo inspiration.

I went with the color scheme by painting the brush tips the colors in the photo.  I used Atyou Spicas for the brushes to make them shine, while the handles, which are colored with a Copic.  This is one of my RARE CAS cards.  I used a sparkly silver/gray cs to mount the image.  Both cs are cut out with Nesties.  I printed the sentiment directly on the card base and added a touch of color.

I am also entering the following challenges:

Addicted to CAS - codeword: Glitter
Word Art Wednesday - anything goes
Cuttin and Stampin - Clean and Simple

Thanks for stopping by!
Margaret will be back tomorrow with something great to share, I'm sure!

Hang in there

Hi everyone,
I've made a monumental leap today.  LOL   I've been very resistant to these digital stamps, but I had no choice today.  Yesterday I found out I won one of the challenges for From the Heart Digital Stamps and so I went shopping--ASAP!  ALWAYS a thrill.   Well come to find out, one of the stamps I bought was perfect for what I needed today.  I found out the my friend's mom is going through a rough time (both husband and now sister are dying) so I thought a little "Thinking of you...hang in there" card would brighten her day.

In addition, I would like to report that the digital stamp experience was GREAT...just like an inked one.  ( I still prefer my rubber stamps though!) However,  I may be on to something and this may just increase my stash for a fraction of the cost.  Thanks Kathy, once again, for the inspirations (She is MUCH more daring than I am and she's jumped in on this bandwagon a  long time ago).

I was inspired by the Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge: #167 Sam's sketch.  And the card does have some stickles and glaze. But I especially loved this image.  It was perfect for the occasion and inside I stamped the sentiment, "until the sun comes out for you my umbrella is built for two" which I recently purchased from Impression Obsession.

Thanks for stopping by today...and even though it's Monday, try not to let it get you down.  By the time you read this, it's probably Monday night so one down, 4 to go! :)

A Dog's Kiss

It's Kathy here tonight.
I made a card for my husband this evening because it is Sunday night, he's not feeling well, and he has to go to work tomorrow.
He'll like the card because he likes ALL my cards that have dogs on them, and this one looks like it could be one of ours!
Anyway, I hope it helps him start off his day with a smile.

No sketch this time, but I did use the photo inspiration at {Cupcake Inspirations}.  The dp is Joy RIde from Cosmo Cricket and cs is SU! Vanilla.
The little dog is a digi Bugaboo image.  I stamped "woof", which is from Impression Obsession, on an MFT bone charm and added a sparkly Swarovski.  I used a Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Square die to cut out the sign that I stamped the sentiment on.  If you look closely, you can see the stitching.  I fussy cut the pooch and added him on top of the sign.  Nothing fancy, but it did turn out cuter than I had originally thought!

I am also entering the following challenges:

Chocolate, Coffee and Cards - Animals
Digi Haven - Animal (must be digi)
Daring Cardmakers - Creature Comforts

Hope this finds you well.  Thanks for stopping by!
See you Tuesday!!!

Birthday wishes

Hi folks,
Margaret here with a fun little card for a friend of mine who is celebrating her birthday in September.  Since classes are only 1 week away, I'm trying to get all my cards out of the way this week since once school hits, it will be hard to get inspired. :(

But anyway...I had a blast making this card.  As you can see from the photo...it's supposed to bring some smiles.  She's only turning 43, but in college she always used to say she couldn't wait to be an old lady.  Since we watched the Golden Girls religiously, she, I and our other two friends made believe we were each one of the characters and my friend was no less than Sophia!  LOL.  So I know she'll get a kick out of this card.

You will notice the drama in this card with all the stickles on the fire.  Although it's almost impossible to make out, the smoke and has loads of glaze all over it.  The lady is cut out and propped up with foam.  I am submitting this card to the Seize the Birthday Challenge: Anything goes.

WEll I hope you enjoyed!  It's actually quite chilly here today...raining raining raining tonight with storms after a lovely breezy day.  But we need the rain...just not the cold.  See ya' Monday everyone!  Thanks for stopping by and all your wonderful comments on our blog posts.  We read (and reread) them and they make us smile. :)

Seeing doilies in front of my eyes

Hello everyone!
Margaret here...and I'm back with more doilies!  This one is for my other daughter and now I hope these girls don't fight over the cards--I don't know which I like better, the one from Tuesday or today!  I was dying to make this card inspired by the sketch by the Sweet Stop (Challenge #220).  This sketch is a keeper!

The doilies are from Inspired by Stamping and they are all embossed and propped up on foam tape to give dimension.  The biggest doily is actually stamped and embossed TWICE so double the volume.  I just bought these embossing powders in green, blue and pink--they're by Adirondack and they're WONDERFUL.  Very crisp.  Some Swarovski crystals give the card sparkle. I just love how this turned out so much I don't want to send it! LOL.

Tomorrow you get Kathy's creation...always excited to see what goodie she comes up with!

Stamps:  Inspired by stamping, sentiment (??)
Edging: Stampin Up
Bow: MFT die
Other: Cuddlebug for embossing background, Swarovski crystals.

with deepest sympathy

Hi Everyone!
I'm here with my post for the Aud Sentiments design team.
Our images this challenge come from Robyn's Fetish.  I chose to use the pretty flowers, which are quite appropriate for a sympathy card.

No DP this time, totally DCWV cardstock, and all from my scrap box. YEA!
I used a Memory Box border die given to me by Margaret for edgings, adorning them with Martha Stewart pearls.  I used MFT dies to cut out the image and mounting.  The sentiment, which is from PTI, is cut out with a Nesties label die.  The image is colored with Copics.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

Card Mania - Pearls/Gems
Die Cut Divas - Summer Flowers
Through the Purple Haze - Anything with Flowers

Thanks for stopping by!
See you again on Thursday!

Cheers to you

Hello Peeps,
I hope you don't mind being called that...I think it's cute!

Today I have a card I had loads of fun creating.  It's actually a card for Kathy to make her laugh (you see there is a funny quote inside but I will totally blow the surprise if I write it here).   I couldn't keep it a secret so I told her it's on its way--so there's only half the surprise there.

This car was inspired using the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #189, using my favorite girls...those Uptown Girls by Stamping Bella.    You see Kathy will appreciate this girl.  When she visited, I gave her a taste of chocolate wine and she loved it (or so she said).  It wasn't exactly a dessert wine (those are brown and very sweet--too sweet!)...it's actually a red wine with a chocolate aftertaste and boy is it good!  I normally do not drink alcohol save for a special occasion, but this...I can do this. :)

Anyway, these girls are tall so the rectangle is a bit taller than I'd like but I guess it works with the sketch nevertheless.  The bottle and wine has the clear glaze over it (hard to see from the photo) and the flowers on her dress have bunches of stickler to maker her sparkle.

Enjoy!  See you Thursday and thanks for stopping by today.  Margaret

You Light Up My Life

Hi everyone!
It's me, Kathy, tonight, with a new Christmas card to share.

I used this darling La La Land Crafts Marci image and colored her with Copics and Spicas.  The template is from Christmas Challenges with Sketches, and it's a keeper.  I really like all the layers of gilded papers, which are from a very old Hobby Lobby Christmas pad (2010).  Green cs and gold metallic cs are from DCWV.  The sentiment from MFT is stamped with Versafine Sepia and mounted on a Sizzix die cut using metallic cs.  Two swarovskis were added for bling!  I used an Impression Obsession holly die and decorated each corner with holly and deep red Swarovskis.  Since it IS JULY in the south, I love that Marci is wearing a sleeveless dress and flip flops!!!  She definitely goes well with our 100 degree temps and humidity!!!!

I am also entering the following challenges:

Robin's Fetish - Christmas in July
Sweet Stampin' - What...Christmas in July!!!
Weekly Christmas Card Challenges - Snowflake/Xmas card
Cut It Up - Christmas in July (include die cut)
Fairy Tale Challenge - Christmas in July

Sending smiles across the miles

Hi everyone!
Margaret here.  I just viewed Kathy's fantastic card she made yesterday.  It was so cute from the image down to the colors.  It actually inspired me because I felt my creativity was getting low.  However, I still cannot perfect those digi stamps...she's really good at it.  I have no patience!

So today's card was inspired by the Crazy 4 Challenges C4C195 Sketch.  I love this sketch because there are SO many things you can do with it--you need to check out the sample cards made by the design team.  They are fabulous and all so different from each other!

As promised last time I posted, I would have a more intricate card for you today.  ANd I took this card up one notch...by making it no less than sparkly and intricate.  I also used a stamp set I love but have never been inspired to use (By SU).  I love those mandalas and this sketch really lends itself well to using all those doily type stamps in your stash.

Anyway...I have this old catalog with little girl clothes and the colors in the card were inspired from a cute little bathing suit (black white and pink) from that catalog.  I hope you enjoyed today's creation.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello

Another hot and humid day in the southern USA. UGH!
I stayed in most of the day, except when we took the dogs for a couple of walks.  That's about all I can take.  We got teased with some thunder, but no rain.

I was perusing through my digital stamp collection and came across this image from Sassy Cheryl.  When I was at the hairdresser's yesterday, they were teasing one of the girls about her plans to go camping, so that was my inspiration.

I just love how Sally and Bella are both popping their heads out of the tent!
Bella looks a lot like my Geena Bea, thus the attraction to this pair!  I colored it with Copics and Spicas, cut it out with Nesties Labels 5 and mounted it on DCWV cs.  The dp is Authentique Remembrance and the ribbon is from my scrap stash.  I used the sketch from Card Crafter's Circle.

I am also entering this in the following challenges:

Sassy Cheryl's - Outdoor Fun & Games
Digitally Sweet - Sunshine & Summertime
Wags n' Whiskers - Summer fun

Thanks for stopping by!
Margaret has promised you an intricate card for tomorrow so be sure to stop by and see what she has created!

A card with no purpose

Hi everyone,
I'm here tonight with a quick post (because it's late)!  Big day, big week...I'm zapped.

Anyway, I was having some low mojo where creativity was concerned, so I just started "playing" as my daughter says.  I found some scraps of paper and decided to put this little card together...having no purpose in mind.  Do you know that I NEVER do that.  It's just not me...I have a purpose and a goal for everything. LOL.  This was very much out of my comfort zone.

Anyway, this card with no purpose ended up being something I'll probably end up giving to my girls when they get back.  The stamp is from Impression Obsession and I've been wanting to use it.  Somehow the card ended up coming together...quite the rainbow, huh?

Well thanks for stopping by.  I hope to have a more intricate card on Sunday!

Feliz Navidad

Geez it was a hot one today!
Rain came all around us late this afternoon, but not a drop at our house.  Didn't last long either.  We are still under fire alert and of course we have a burn ban.  I will be so thankful for some cooler weather.  (Yes, I know it is mid-July - I am not a summer person.  I want to summer somewhere cold!!!  Give me cold all year round!

Speaking of cold, I have a Christmas card to share tonight.

I used the sketch from Sweet Sunday Stamps, flipped.  My dp is ancient Memory Box purchased at a favorite defunct Scrapbook store :( and cs is DCWV.  I stamped the Waltzingmouse image with Encore Metallic Gold, cut out with a Spellbinders die and I chose the sentiment from the same set.  The banner is from Memory Box, as well.

I am also entering the following challenges:

Crimbo Crackers - Anything goes
Paper Crafting Journey - Christmas in July
ABC Christmas Challenge - no embellishments
Creative Belli - Christmas/use old stash

Thanks for stopping by.  Margaret will be back tomorrow!

Happy 44th Anniversary to my parents

Hello everyone,
Sorry this card is so late...I was busy busy busy at work today.

With my one week intensive class coming up, I needed to work on my parents' anniversary card.  They are celebrating their 44th!  You don't hear of that anymore...

Anyway, I always try to create something with lots of sparkle for them.  They like that.  I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. LOL.  So today's card is made from paper that I was hoarding since 1999 when I started scrapbooking.  It was a piece of scrap left but it worked perfectly for today's theme.

I am going to enter this card into the Crafty Creations Challenge # 231: Tim to Sparkle.

Thanks for your patience today...and you will have Kathy...in a few hours! :)  Margaret

Sunshine

Hi Everyone!
I just got back from agility class with Geena Bea, whoa, it is so hot and humid.  I cannot wait until fall gets here!

Tonight's card is for inspiration...

for the recipient!
This is a Stamping Bella image & sentiment and I just love it!
Some days work can be so taxing.
Instead of getting depressed or upset, look for the upside.
Make some SUNSHINE!
I colored the image with Copics and Spicas.
I used a Memory Box border die that Margaret gave me - I just LOVE it!
I added some purple rhinestones to it and a line of itty bitty ones under the sentiment, cut out with Nesties.
I think this will be a great encouragement card, don't you?

No sketch this time - quite unusual for me.

Welcome baby

Hi all,
I was tickled pink today to receive a baby announcement from a former student.  I love when my former students keep in touch.  Many of them have gotten married, had babies...some had two.  THe circle of life.

Well, with no further adieu, I quickly made a card for the event...and will need to think about a gift later this week.  This card template was inspired by the sketch from Techno Stamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge #272.  It's such a cute sketch!   I'm also entering the Aud Sentiments #85 Challenge: Two Words  Although it's hard to see from the photo, the dress is embossed in antique gold, cut out and popped up with foam tape.  This was one of my first few stamps I ever bought from Stampin Up and I sure have used this set alot!

Thanks for stopping by today and I will see you Wednesday and Kathy will be back tomorrow!  Margaret  ;)

I used papers from my scrap stash, yea!
The image is from CC Designs and I just lobe her braids and freckles.  I colored her with Copics and Spicas, right down to her sweet little flip flops.  The sentiment comes from There She Goes.  The baubles are from Robin's Nest and ribbon is from Michaels.  I used a Fetch-a-Sketch template from 3 sketches ago!

I am entering the following challenges:

Hope your day is a real splash

Hi everyone,
Today was a gloomy day in Colorado.  Rained all day on and off...now it's still raining, hard.  That's GREAT!  We need it.  I was extremely productive--painted one of my bedrooms and made this card.  :)  I haven't had a paintbrush in my hand in a long time...over 5 years!  And I probably won't be doing it anytime soon!  ALl the walls in this house are textured and let me tell ya--it is NOT fun painting that!  So I think I will leave it to the professionals next time.  I am sure my back will thank me for it.  But it sure is exciting to get more paint on the walls. :)

So today's card is for my other daughter Julia.  Although she is older, and a teenager, she is still very much a child so the image itself isn't so much her, but the flower and ball would definitely be "her".

This image is a new Unity Image...I love those Fashionista girls!  If you haven't checked them out...do! They're fun!  I will be entering this card into the following challenges:

Details:
Stamp:  Unity (Girl); Impression Obsession (Sentiment)
Paper: DCWV (Michael's)
Edge: Martha Stewart
Die cut: Spellbinders
Other: Sticles, crystal glaze (on ball), jewels (Hobby Lobby); Liquid pearl

Thanks for stopping by!  Will be "Seeing" you all Monday. Margaret :)

Fight Like a Girl

I am melting!  It is so darn hot and humid here.  With a heat index
over 100 and no relief in sight, I wish I could melt, for real!

Weather is one battle I can do nothing about, but a friend of mine is fighting a different kind of battle, thus the theme for tonight's card.
She starts chemo next week after 2 surgeries to remove cancer.

Image and sentiment are both from ALM Fight Like a Girl from MFT.  I used EP Springtime dp (4 different patterns!), pink Michael's cs and my white cs for stamping.  Embossing was done with my Embossalicious 6x6 folder and I used a square die to cut the insert out of the pink dp so I could mount the image there.  I stamped the boxing gloves on scrap, colored them with Copics and Spicas for sparkle and then mounted them on the image to give them a little more depth.  I added pearls in the corners for a little more bling.

I am also entering the following challenges:

Sarah Hurley Challenge - pink sparkle
In the Pink - pink & pearlie
Southern Girls Challenge - no spoolin' (I used paper instead of ribbon)

Thanks for stopping by.  Margaret will have a treat for you tomorrow!

Work less, play more, enjoy life

Hi everyone,
When I logged in yesterday to view Kathy's card, I had this sense of reverence and anticipation. LOL!  You have to understand, she roped me into this stamping business and I still remember the day I went to my very first stamping class.  I had just flown in from a long trip and I had absolutely NO interest (I was a scrapbooker for heaven's sakes!)--but I went along anyway.  We had Chinese food for dinner..and then we went (to a Stampin Up party)...and then the rest was history.  Hooked---line and sinker!  Never in our dreams did we ever think we would ever have our own blog, MUCH LESS enter challenges, and MUCH LESS be on a design team.  I remember the first set of cards we made for a fundraiser--we were so proud of them but looking back now, I'm so embarrased! haha  SO, that being Kathy's first post as a DT member--was a huge landmark in our history. :)

Well, on another note... my package is off to the girls and now I need to get started on my next cards.  They'll be going to the beach soon so I've been looking for some beachy stamps since I didn't have any in my stash.  How lucky to find that Stampin Bella just put out a beach girl...and so did Unity!

Today's card features the Stampin Bella card.  Originally I was going to send this one to my older daughter Julia, but once I started creating it, I thought to myself, "Who am I kidding?  This one's all Claudia":  The large orange hat, the big ol' sunglasses, the purse...and did I mention the ORANGE?  And the sentiment, which goes with the stamp, is SOOO Claudia.  Wish I was more like that girl--she manages to enjoy life as much as possible and still do a fine job at school and never stress out about it.

Anyway, this design was inspired by the Sweet Sketch Challenge: SSW214  I love the paper I found in my stash by My Mind's Eye.  It looks a little like mandalas and sunshine.  I'm starting to think there's a pattern here.  I never look at what brand of paper I get...if I like it, I get it.  Then after going through my stash today I found that most of my paper is either MME, Doodlebug, Theresa Collins, or Simple Stories.  How's that for a pattern...

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the sketch and take a little heed from the wise sentiment before summer turns to fall. Thanks for stopping by!  Next card: Unity Beach Girl...  Margaret
PS.  I added a closeup--no good card goes unstickled which I put on the stripes of the bag and bathing suit!  ;)

You're Sweet

I LOVE watermelon.
I just finished eating a big slice!
So when I saw this darling Bugaboo image, this was the one for me.

This is my first creation as a member of the Aud Sentiments Design Team.
I colored this little guy with Copics and Spicas for sparkle.  The dp is from an old pad of My Mind's Eye and the cs is DCWV.  I used SU! punches for the sentiment, which comes from Pink Cat Studio.  The ribbon is also from SU!  Of course, the image would not be the same without some Stickles on the wings and antennae!

I'm thrilled to be a part of Aud Sentiments, especially since this is my first design team experience.  Everyone has been so very nice.  Be sure to stop by and play.  We have some great challenges.  I played there often prior to being on the DT.

I am entering the following challenges:

Some Daisy love sent

Hello everyone,
Well what a couple of days I've had.  My cable, internet AND phone went out and on top of that my work computer came down with a virus.  Everything was out all morning too and the computer took a few hours to fix.  The good news is that it turned out to be a "little cold" as the IT person told me and nothing to significant. :)

I decided to insert a little surprise for the girls in their package and send a card from Daisy.  I am just thrilled with the sketch I found today.  It's so cute!   The sketch I used is from i {heart} card sketches, #25 listed below.  For those who don't know, Daisy is our beautiful Great Pyrenees and I thought the doggie on the card looks just like her...don't you think (See photo below)!  She is very close with the girls, but especially Julia, my older daughter who has been missing her tremendously.  Needless to say the envelope and inside the card there's alot of paws stamped all over. :)

Well I hope you enjoyed today's card.  Thanks for stopping by and I will see you in two days. ;)  Margaret

Ruh-roh

Hi all.  It's Kathy here tonight with a card that could be used for several occasions.  My original intent was for a late birthday card, but the more I look at it, I may use it for a "something's gone awry" card!

This is a digital Bugaboo image and the sentiment is from There She Goes.  I colored the image with Copics and Spicas.  The dp is Basic Grey Max & Whiskers and cs is DCWV.  I used brown satin ribbon behind the pup and Nesties to cut out the ovals.  The sketch is from last week's Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge (Ruh-roh, I missed the challenge!)!!!

I am entering the following challenges:
TokBobok - animal friends
Make My Monday - balloons
The Cutie Pie Challenge - Cute & cuddly

Hope you haven't had any Ruh-roh moments in your life today!

You are my sunshine, 2

Hi everyone,
As I type up this post, our normally sunny clear skies are turning a deep gray with an ominous feel of a big storm coming.  I am happy about this because since January we have had only 1.5 inches of rainfall and our water bills have gone sky high (I'm paying $50 more what I did last year at this time, and using LESS water due to our water restrictions!).  We have been lucky to have had some rain everyday this week so for the first time in my life (I love sun), I'm grateful. :)

So today, I made a card for my other daughter with the same sentiment I made a couple of days ago using the Mojo Sketch, "You are my sunshine".  Any of you who have kids will appreciate the fact that they need equality. :)  Anyway, today's sentiment is planted into a lovely sketch by the Stamping Sensations July Challenge.  I like this sketch because there's a lot going on...edging, lots of paper addition components, different shapes, lots of opportunities for bling.  I love these types of sketches!  While this doesn't have the same amount of sparkle as most of my cards, I think all the little bits and pieces make up for it.  I'm thinking of  sending this card to Claudia since she's my partner in crime where it concerns card making and will enjoy all the 'stuff' going on (remember, this is the child who is addicted to sketches).   :)

OK so here we go, here is the final product...voila!  Hope you liked it and thanks for stopping by.  Try not to be too depressed about it being Monday tomorrow...it's still summer and you get to have a post by Kathy. :)  ~Margaret

From the Bottom of my he{art}

This time it's my turn to surprise Margaret!
Before this posts, this card will be on it's way to Colorado.

I used the MOJO300 sketch (after seeing Margaret's card yesterday).  We are so good at challenging each other!

The stamps are from a Paper Smooches set I purchased in Colorado while visiting with Margaret, with the intent of using it for my thank you card to her!!!  The dp is old Echo Park that is so used up it isn't even a pad anymore!  I colored the easel, paint brush and palette with copics and spicas.  I added a few rhinestones in the upper corner.  Hope she likes it!

I am also entering the following challenges:

Stampin for the Weekend - color challenge
Word Art Wednesday - uplifting sentiment

Thanks for stopping by...Margaret will be here tomorrow so be sure to check in to see what she has been up to!

MOJO300: You are my Sunshine

Hi everyone,
I'm checking in this fine Friday with a Mojo Monday sketch.  My girls are in England this week and so when they get back, they will have cards ready for them. :)  I'm not sure who this card will go to but "You are my sunshine" is a phrase I always use with them so after a gloomy English week, I thought this would be so appropriate.  (my next card on Sunday will also have this sentiment...just different card design!)  By the way, the "sunshine" is stamped in gold so it's nice and sparkly.

Here is the sketch I followed for Mojo MOnday #300.  THe prizes are great and they will have 30 winners...so make sure to check it out. :)
And here are the details:
Stamp: Hampton arts (You are my sunshine) and Stampin Up (For you); partial sun (Stampabilities)
Dies: Square (Spellbinders), Banner (MFT), Sun Flower (Memory Box) on yellow and gold paper
Patterned paper: Simple stories
Flower: Iced box flowers from Michaels
 Thanks for stopping by!  ~Margaret

Cozy Christmas Wishes

Hi!  It's my day again (Kathy).
It's probably pretty obvious to you since Margaret and I
have very different styles!

My card today adds to my Christmas stash.

I used an MFT Pure Innocence image, colored her with Copics, paper-pieced her jammies and Christmas stocking, adding Liquid Applique for a fuzzy stocking top.
I used Bo Bunny dp (one side is solid, the other polka-dotted) and Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses.  An MFT die was used to cut out the MFT sentiment.  I used the sketch from the Christmas Card Challenges.  I think she's just adorable!

I am also entering her in the following challenges:

Holly Jolly Christmas - must use something new (just got this stamp set this week-can't get much newer than that!)
Card Mania - Christmas in July
Make My Monday - Christmas in July
Stamp & Create - Christmas in July
The Squirrel & The Fox - Christmas in July
Cutie Pie Challenges - paper-piecing

Happy 4th of July to the USA.
Thanks for stopping by!  See you again on Saturday!
