Smile

I'm back with a happy little card tonight.
Margaret gave me a QUICK call at work today because she needed to hear my voice, and that put a SMILE on my face.  Thus....

It's awful when your best friend lives 1000 miles away, but fortunately technology makes it much more tolerable.  Especially since there's no long distance charges, HA!

My card today uses Lori Boyd's Camera Cate.  She is colored with Copics and Spicas.  I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp, however I flipped it to accomodate the text cloud.  I incorporated dies from Impression Obsession (fence) and MFT (camera), while fussy cutting the text cloud sentiment (There She Goes) and popping it up with foam tape.  DP is from MME Tangerine.  I popped a rhinestone in the die cut camera to give the lens some dimension.  The ribbon comes from my scrap drawer.

I am also entering the following challenges:

DRS Designs - It's bright in here
Stampotique - Lots of Layers SDC#115
Oozak - anything goes/dies/punches

Thanks for stopping by!

  6. I love humor in cards, Kathleen, and you have given me this with the command SMILE from the wee lady with a camera in her hand! You have used color to give your image life, and beautifully so!
