Hang in there

Hi everyone,
I've made a monumental leap today.  LOL   I've been very resistant to these digital stamps, but I had no choice today.  Yesterday I found out I won one of the challenges for From the Heart Digital Stamps and so I went shopping--ASAP!  ALWAYS a thrill.   Well come to find out, one of the stamps I bought was perfect for what I needed today.  I found out the my friend's mom is going through a rough time (both husband and now sister are dying) so I thought a little "Thinking of you...hang in there" card would brighten her day.

In addition, I would like to report that the digital stamp experience was GREAT...just like an inked one.  ( I still prefer my rubber stamps though!) However,  I may be on to something and this may just increase my stash for a fraction of the cost.  Thanks Kathy, once again, for the inspirations (She is MUCH more daring than I am and she's jumped in on this bandwagon a  long time ago).

I was inspired by the Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge: #167 Sam's sketch.  And the card does have some stickles and glaze. But I especially loved this image.  It was perfect for the occasion and inside I stamped the sentiment, "until the sun comes out for you my umbrella is built for two" which I recently purchased from Impression Obsession.

Thanks for stopping by today...and even though it's Monday, try not to let it get you down.  By the time you read this, it's probably Monday night so one down, 4 to go! :)
Margaret

    1. And I just wanted to add...I was a rubber stamper for a LONG time before trying digital. It is a bit different at first, but if you love coloring images, it's so easy to print off a bunch and they come out perfectly (with no inky clean-up) each time. :)Congrats on winning the challenge!
